COVID-19 Protocols Updates

Currently, all travelers arriving in Brazil by air must provide all of the following documentation:

• A negative Covid-19 Antigen test within 24 hours of flight departure OR a negative Covid-19 Laboratory RT-PCR test within 72 hours of flight.
• Proof of vaccination for applicable ages - either printed or electronic - of immunization approved by ANVISA, WHO or health authorities in the country where immunized - whose last dose has occurred at least 14 days before the flight departure. Some exeptions apply for specific circumstances and anyone declared exempt must quarantine for 14 days.
• Must present to airline before boarding printed or electronic proof of filling out the "Travelers Health Declaration" within a maximum of 24 hours before the flight.

Please Note

• This activity is not bookable on cruise days or for cruise ship passengers.
• Boat tour is approximately two hours long before returning to the city. Each time the boat gets to a beach, it stays for 30 minutes each so the passengers can enjoy each beach.
• There are restrooms on the boat.
• The schooner captain is also the tour guide.
• Drinks like caipirinha and food are available for purchase on the schooner. Water is included and free.
• The boat usually makes 3 stops for swimming and usually goes to the same destinations: Ilha Feia, Joao Fernandes Beach, Azeda Beach or Tartaruga Beach. The order and destinations depend on the wind and weather conditions.
• Passengers must bring their own swimsuits. There is nothing available to buy at the boat.

Itinerary

After Arraial do Cabo hotel pick ups, board a schooner and enjoy the coastline from a different perspective and in a different way. Behold beaches like Azeda and Azedinha, Joao Fernandes and Joao Fernandinho, Ilha Feia or Tartaruga. Enjoy swimming or snorkeling at the stops and have a great time with the cheerful boat staff. You will see crystal clear waters and marvel at beautiful landscapes. You may bring your own snorkel, or they are available for rental on the schooner, so don`t hesitate to get yours and make this tour even more fun exploring life underwater!

The regular route of the schooner tour is: leaving the pier from downtown, where you will see beaches like do Canto and Praia da Armacao. Then you will see Praia dos Azores, Praia da Azeda, Praia da Azedinha, Praia de Joao Fernandes and praia de Joao Fernandinho. Pass by Ilha Branca going straight to Ilha Feia, where there is another stop. After that, you will folllow to Praia da Tartaruga, the last stop for swimming and diving; then pass by Praia das Virgens and Praia dos Amores before arriving back to the starting point. Each stop lasts around 30 minutes, and you can go to the beach instead of staying aboard the schooner. Don't forget to bring towels and your camera; you will need both of them!

You will disembark on the famous Rua das Pedras, with international shops, several bars and restaurants, bringing together the best in Búzios. You will enjoy a delicious included lunch (drinks and desserts not included). After lunch, you will take an unforgettable trip aboard the Buzios Trolley, a special, open vehicle that will take you to beaches and lookouts located in the highest points of Buzios. This wonderful driving tour goes past 11 beaches and 2 scenic overlook points. Completely open, the trolley provides you with stunning frame-free views so you can feel and smell the sea. Enjoy clean air, fresh breezes and everything you need to experience truly relaxed exploration of one of the world's most beautiful and sparsely visited paradises.

The regular route of the Trolley: You will see Praia da Armacao, the Brigitte Bardot statue and the monument to the Three Fishermen. Then you will see Praia dos Ossos and Joao Fernandes. Later, make a stop at the Praia do Forno, with its unique red sand. You will also make a quick stop at Ponta da Lagoinha, a place that bordered with Africa in the Pangea era.

Following the trolley tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel, having finished your day knowing the whole peninsula!
