Buzios Tour from Rio de Janeiro
After pick up from your Rio hotel or cruise ship port, the bus drives you over the Rio-Niteroi Bridge and on to Buzios - about a 3 hour trip with a 15-minute rest stop en route. Upon arrival, the group is taken on a walk through the town's cobbled streets. Buzios was made famous by the French actress Brigitte Bardot, who visited there numerous times. Your tour also includes a boat trip to favorite swimming beaches nearby and lunch is included.
Once a quaint fisherman’s village and now a fashionable and sophisticated city, Buzios has changed in some ways dramatically and in others not at all. You will have time to meet friendly residents from over 44 different nationalities in this community of just 15,000 people before the return trip to Rio.

48 Hours Minimum Advance Booking Required. This tour requires a minimum of 10 total participants to operate. If the minimum number of persons is not met for the date and time of your reservation, you will be contacted to discuss alternatives. This tour includes free hotel pick up and drop off at most hotels in Sao Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana. Beverages are NOT included. Rates are per person in US dollars. There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
Tour / Activity Policies
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

COVID-19 Protocols Updates
Currently, all travelers arriving in Brazil by air must provide all of the following documentation:
- A negative Covid-19 Antigen test within 24 hours of flight departure OR a negative Covid-19 Laboratory RT-PCR test within 72 hours of flight.
- Proof of vaccination for applicable ages - either printed or electronic - of immunization approved by ANVISA, WHO or health authorities in the country where immunized - whose last dose has occurred at least 14 days before the flight departure. Some exeptions apply for specific circumstances and anyone declared exempt must quarantine for 14 days.
- Must present to airline before boarding printed or electronic proof of filling out the "Travelers Health Declaration" within a maximum of 24 hours before the flight.
Special Schedule Details
- No tours are scheduled on January 1, during Carnaval (usually in February or March), on Good Friday or Easter Sunday (if those days of the week become tour days), December 24, December 25 or December 31.

Boat Tour
Enjoy the Buzios coastline from a different perspective and in a different way. Behold beaches like Azeda and Azedinha, Joao Fernandes and Joao Fernandinho, Ilha Feia or Tartaruga. You'll be able to swim at the stops and have a great time with a cheerful boat staff. Drinks like caipirinha and food are available for purchase. Water is free.
Passengers must bring their own swimsuits. There is nothing available to buy at the boat.
Each time the boat gets to a beach, it stays for 30 minutes so the passengers can enjoy that beach. The boat usually makes 3 stops for swimming and usually goes to the same destinations: Ilha Feia, Joao Fernandes Beach, Azeda Beach or Tartaruga Beach. The order and destinations depends on the wind and weather conditions. The boat tour takes about 2 hours before it gets back to the city of Buzios.
